HOW IT STARTED
On September 25th, 2021, God began to speak to Jeremy and Brittany about planting a life-giving church that would reach unreached people and make a true and lasting difference in their city.
In 2022, God gave that dream a name: Zeal City - a risk-taking, go-big, all-in church for the unchurched. They see a community that is full of life, accessible, and dynamic. A hospital for the broken and beaten down, and a place for Godly passion to grow and thrive. We believe people all over Northern Colorado want to be a part of a church that is big enough to make a difference, but small enough to be known and loved.

OUR NAME
Our name comes from John 2:13-22 - Jesus’ heart for the House of God. The disciples saw Jesus was “acting out” Psalm 69:9 - Zeal for my Father’s House will CONSUME me. We’ve all been to churches that made us wonder, why is it so gloomy? Where’s the passion? Where’s the energy? The joy of Jesus should be contagious and flow from Sunday gatherings to Monday meetings and beyond. Jeremy and Brittany believe that God has positioned them uniquely to bring the Gospel and a heart of Zeal to their region in an incredibly impactful way.
WHERE WE ARE HEADED
We are taking personal responsibility for seeing our region know and follow Jesus Christ. We see a multi-generational church full of believers and unbelievers, saints and sinners, welcomed into a community that feels like home. We're not a church of "see you next week," we're a church of "see you THIS week!" We definitely don't know it all, but we do know that the Best is Yet to Come!
